Accessorising Your Bump

by Fluffleberry on April 1, 2012

Now that I am in the third trimester of my pregnancy I am finding less and less of my existing clothes fit. Due to my size being temporary and my energy levels being measly I can’t say I am inspired to spend much money or traipse around the shops.

Softness is vital for a mummy to be. Make sure you are covered in jersey and cashmere and that your shoes are flat and comfy. You are working very hard making your little one and you’re probably very tired like me, so you deserve to feel good. Unfortunately the side effect of wearing these essentials day in day out is you may be left feeling less than glamorous. My answer to this pregnancy dilemma is to take the focus to accessories. After all, accessories will fit no matter how big you get! For example I am feeling most grateful for my scarf collection and my ballet pumps, but most importantly I am turning to jewellery for the pick me up I need.

Adding a bit of sparkle or a flash of colour here and there can instantly lift your mood and make you feel your fabulous self once more. Here is my accessory mood board for Spring/Summer 2012…
