Learning Style

by Fluffleberry on January 27, 2011

Neuro – Linguistic Programming examines how the mind processes information. It’s representational systems model explains how information is processed through the senses. In my work as a therapist I pay attention to learning styles so that I can communicate effectively and enter the client’s subjective experience.

My own experience of processing information and stimuli is predominantly visual. I tend to recall events as images and create new ideas as pictures in my mind. I have always loved art and fashion and just feel at home in visual communication.

If you are a visual person like me treat yourself to tickets to the Cirque du Soliel. Totum is showing at The Royal Albert Hall now. My beautiful friend Cordelia goes every year on her birthday and she gave me a ticket. The lights shows, the set design, the costumes, the acrobats, the choreography, absolutely everything about it was polished and stunning. I immersed myself in what can only be described a a visual feast!
